This is an incredibly easy starter recipe for making your own sausage. Use this as a base and adjust the seasonings to your liking. You won't buy store bought sausage patties again. Trust me.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground pork (I ground my own from pork shoulder)
2 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp (packed) rubbed saged
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp cayenne
2 T water
Directions:
Mix seasonings and water together to form a slurry. Combine with sausage and mix until fully incorporated. Form into 3" patties.
